En route from Santa Fe, New Mexico to El Paso, Texas, we pulled over for a quick pit stop in Hatch, New Mexico. Yes, that Hatch: The eponymous home of those green chiles that show up once a year at the grocery and on many a menu.

Much to our delight, the road side stands were still teeming with Hatch Chiles of all varietals of heat factors. We picked up a grocery bag of the most spicy and a bag of the mild. 

On our homecoming, here are just a few of the recipes we've started to enjoy with the harvest:
