Brother Vellies shoes celebrates the work, culture and fashion heritage of Africa in a tasteful and socially responsible way. Founder Aurora James is publicly good about giving credit where credit is due: upon winning the coveted CFDA Prize, she dedicated the prize to the people who do the heavy lifting on the brand in Africa and when featured in Architectural Digest, she shared the love with her favorite floral sources in the little seen Flower District of NYC.
